Forentrics, a cutting-edge spin-off from KU Leuven, has officially entered the forensic technology market, bringing advanced innovations to crime scene investigation. In a recent press release held in conjunction with the Belgian Federal Judicial Police (FJP) of Brussels, Forentrics showcased its groundbreaking tool, HemoVision, which the FJP has integrated into their operational workflow over the past year.

The highlight of the event was a live demonstration of HemoVision in action, set against a meticulously arranged mock crime scene. This demonstration illustrated the impressive capabilities of HemoVision in real-time, garnering attention from several major Belgian media outlets (links at the end of the post).

Forentrics' collaboration with the FJP marks a significant milestone in forensic science, combining academic research with practical application to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of bloodstain pattern analysis in criminal investigations.

Stay tuned as Forentrics continues to revolutionize forensic technology, making significant strides in crime scene analysis and helping to bring justice with cutting-edge precision.
