HemoVision 3.3.0 & Updated Documentation Pages

Posted on April 1, 2026 by philip

With the release of HemoVision 3.3.0, we introduced one of the largest updates in the software’s history. Alongside numerous improvements and new features, the release also brings a completely redesigned user interface aimed at making Bloodstain Pattern Analysis workflows faster, clearer, and more intuitive.

To help both new and experienced users get up to speed quickly, we have completely rebuilt and expanded our online documentation platform.

The updated documentation now includes:

  • A full user guide for HemoVision 3.3.0
  • Detailed explanations of new tools and interface components
  • Background information on BPA terminology and coordinate systems
  • Improved guidance on project setup, scene reconstruction, and analysis workflows
  • Updated troubleshooting and best practices sections

In addition to the documentation overhaul, we also refreshed our training datasets. Each dataset has been carefully curated to demonstrate different aspects of HemoVision and to provide users with practical examples for learning and experimentation.

Whether you are just starting with HemoVision or already using it in active casework, the new documentation pages are designed to help you work more efficiently and confidently.

We will continue expanding the documentation over time with additional tutorials, examples, and educational material.
